The Lake Is Lit By Moonlight Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

The Lake Is Lit By Moonlight

Rating: 5.0

The lake is lit by moonlight
The water is so still,
A mirror of the astral sky
It shines.

The shadows from the trees
Upon the water cast,
And melt into the surface calm
That shines.

The stillness of the air
And beauty of the night,
That is as clear as crystal
And shines.

And though it is so cold
I feel so warm inside,
For the love within your eyes
Now shines.

An unusual way of writing Andrew, but it works so well. A delight to find. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX

A romantic scene meant for love nobody can ignore in these days of excitement for a while if possible! It kindles longing in everyone's heart!
