The Last Dance Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

The Last Dance

Rating: 5.0

As a shimmering sea mirrored such scarlet sunset wonders,
The last of a languid day, left a sky of livid lavenders.
This calm, capricious, charming act, captivated with color,
That moved on monotonous, madcap waves, in midst of summer.

Purple, placid, pleasing clouds, seemed painted on purposely,
In scintillating, searing, sunset rays, also seen in the sea.
A timeless, torrid, torturous, twilight, farewell surprise;
And the magic, magenta, moment was also mirrored in my eyes!
