The Lions' Den. Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Lions' Den.

Rating: 5.0

The emptiness
Of Nothing,
Floats in
The Bullfighting Ring,
Senseless killing!
Blind destruction
Never, a win!
And nonetheless!
It's repeated
Over and Over
Again!
Till complete
Annihilation,
Will ocurre
As we carelessly
Open,
The final
Lion's Den!

Well defined. The bullfighting ring is the area of total annihilation. Of even the humaneness! Top score, Sandra.

The image of Lion's Den lingers in the mind. A very engaging write. So sad and scary.

What a powerful and incisive poem. I can feel the strong sentiments against destruction and senseless killing which we all condemned.
