The Merry-Go-Round Poem by Heather Burns

The Merry-Go-Round

The horses forever
gallop
Never slowing down

shards keep falling
by the way side
pieces always lie in
want

I'm tired of riding
this pony
stop this merry-go-
round
let me off.

I remember as a child riding the Merry-Go-Round. Seemed like it went around forever and ever then. In life we ride the merry-go-rounds of love, hate, peace, joy, etc. Just like the ride can be stopped so can it be with our emotions. I also have one called Love Seesaw please take a look when you have time. Truly enjoyed this.

Merry go round represents life. At times one feels tired of riding the pony. Beautifully presented. Thank you.
