I knew
that my heart had left you
from that very moment
when I didn't care
I knew life had changed
my love for you estranged
our relationship was not working
instead it was a wound constantly hurting
that very night
when I did the unthinkable
I listened to my heart
and not my mind
a love of a different kind
was it love
It felt like love
it felt better than what I ever knew
this feeling of love with him
and I couldn't resist
cause it gave me so much happiness
he captured my heart
I knew at that moment I had to depart
from a life of dissent and ruin
it was that very moment it was doomed
