The Manifestation Of Fear
My body shakes
my mind races
I can feel
everything he faces
fearful thoughts
fretful visions
thinking warped
indecisions
want to hold him
to take away the fear
but I feel the same
when he is near
let me be another way
let me find words to say
what he feels, I feel even more
how can I help him
when I cannot ignore
I hear his worry, I hear his call

To care for someone so much and you can fell their pain but not take it away; all you can do is to let them know you are there with them through the rough times. An excellent poem.
That is the worst feeling when you feel the same pain yet you cannot help them they have to help themselves. You are right being there for them is the only thing you could do and I know that's the most important thing to do thank you for sharing your thoughts.
