The moon of the winter
Shines bright and sails so low
Its milky beam grazes the valley
Where the wild bushes grow
The moon of the winter
Swings along with the boughs
Inebriated with the fragrance
That wind brings when it flows
The moon of the winter
Shivers when it flows down
With the humming stream till
It vanishes in the west at dawn
The moon of the winter
Is so kind and has the grace
Of a princess as it roams her
Kingdom with her smiling face
Four cute stanzas long of the loveliest moon-observations..I have enjoyed tremendously Thank you so much for sharing
I'll have a serving of the 'Moon of the Winter, anytime. So beautifully felt and written it is simply, divine.
There are so many poems written on MOON yet I see how well few like you create a scope to write further and farther. Good poem.

Inebriated with the fragrance thar wind brings when it flows. It doesn't get anymore poetic than that. Love this poem.
