The Night My Mom Died Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Night My Mom Died

Rating: 4.9

The night you vanished
From my life I found no stars
Shining in the sky
No wind blew lifting tufts
Of my black hair
I felt like lost in the brazen
Twists and turns of the path
Leading to my adulthood
The night you breathed last
My heart pounded like a storm
Creating chaos
Darkness gripped my mind
And I fell on the ground
To wake up in my father's lap
In the black hours of the morn

A Mother can never be replaced by any other. She is an epitome of unconditional love.

Dear Anil ji, I am so sorry to hear that your mother passed away. The poem is so emotional and touching. I went back into the time when my mother passed away. It is a feeling of deep sorrow and numbness.
