The One - Poem by Aliza Mann

He promised he'd give me the stars one day
and I didn't think he could
so when my birthday came around
that was exactly what he did
he said he was laying in bed one night
when an idea popped in his mind
to put glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling
I was really surprised
when I walked into my room
he started playing our song
I could barely hold it in
it was hard not to sing along
he makes me feel so good inside
we always have so much fun
it's times like these when I know for sure
he's definitly the one
