The Poet In Thought Poem by Sanjib Das

The Poet In Thought

Rating: 5.0

No! No! Oh! No - It's not my subject,
I invoke muse in Mount Abora
I create something in my own
Exclusively own.
I am hammering my head,
Nothing come in my pen,
All things are explored,
I need something unexplored.

No! No! Oh No It's not my subject,
I turn over a lot of works,
My attempts in vain,
I express my dissatisfaction
I try again and again
But in vain.
I get nothing new.

No! No! Oh No It's not my subject,
My conscience responds
Tell me you seek in your mind
Imitation is a curse,
You create an Original one
Finally obey the call
Get my subject
My Muse whispers,
You are a poet,
You are in your thought.

The poet is compelled to create. Very genuine feelings expressed here. May the muse always be kind to you. Warm wishes, Sandra
