The Poetic Experience (Part Three) - Poem by Eric Cockrell
we cry out for peace,
but there can be no peace
until we find peace within...
men who are not at peace
within... start wars, fight wars,
and kill innocent people.
the whole journey begins and
ends within... when we stray
from the path we become the tool
of suffering... we become fear!
the poetic experience seeks
to free us from our fears...
and it begins by being a mirror!
