The Ruins Of My Dreamland

My hopes are seeping
through my fingers
like dry

My love has broken the cage of my heart
like a parrot
and she is flying away
to somewhere else

All my sweet plans
are
being
shattered
by the storms of disappointments

My mind has become heavier than the earth
I am carrying it
on my shoulders

I am walking
through the ruins
of
my
dreamland

I am sailing on the sea of tears
in search of an island

I am flying in the sky of sorrow like a migratory bird

Be glad your heart is no longer caged! Your heart is not broken, it is free, free to love again, Rain tears on the sands of hope! Wet on dry will almost solidify, then shape your hope! . you can be more in control of it after you have cried some! You are heavier that Earth? This to me means you have very attractive gravity for love! Do sail on your sea of tears, but insure the island you find is lush and inhabited, if not sail on! Wait for the skies of sorrow to clear, or put on some rose tinted flying goggles and navigate your way to a love where the weather is fine most of the year! Your poem is so sad! It is how you feel? If so I hope you don't mind me trying to lift your spirits with my well meant ramblings x
