The Sand Castles Are Gone Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

The Sand Castles Are Gone

Rating: 5.0

Those childish dreams we once had,
Were abandoned on the sandy beach,
Though they arrived in wonder clad,
And they taught the heart to reach!

But when the glazed sapphire skies,
Had transformed to scarlet orange,
The hopes of morning were revised,
In the hours of moonlight adoring!

Though a yesterday of fervent joy,
Once upon an evening has faded away,
Bloom scents waft memories we enjoy,
As the fantastic scenery of a holiday!

The melodious life song is very refreshing so also the flight of imagery employed there-in.
