The Ship Sailed Without Moses Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Ship Sailed Without Moses

Due to mankind's wickedness,
God had brought global flood;
Noah began to built an ark
According to the order of God.

The ship was constructed
On top of the mountain;
Noah became a laughingstock,
The sinners' heart did not open.

Those who did not believe
In the divine warning of Noah
Were drowned by high water
Engulfing the worldwide area.

The true Church built by Christ
Is likened to Noah's big vessel;
Those who enter into the fold
Will be saved from the lake ofhell.

Eight people were safe from deluge,
Heaving a sigh of relief with gladness;
Noah's ark aimed to rescue,
The ship sailed without Moses.
