The Silent Night Poem by Yasmin Khan

The Silent Night

Rating: 5.0

Evening falls and windswept moon
Floats on dark skies, air sans tune,
Silence sinks me deep, all is still
Darkness weaves a web to fill
The heart with desire soft and dim
To peep into your eyes, a sweeping whim
Of taking your hand and to walk with moon
Like air that swells and swirls on dunes,
Escorting solitude and listening
To the lulling quietude, the light glistening
In eyes like glow worms, brightening the dusk,
Breaths drunk with night blooming jasmine’s musk,
Hearts drown in ecstasy of fragrance and liquid light
Bathes the souls in the mystery of moonlit night.

Serene night fragrant with the smell of blooming jasmines and illumined with the silvery beams of the moon. No wonder the heart weaves a web of desire! Enjoyed! !

Quixotic poem seems as romantic scene is playing on in front of my eyes, as someone's heart feel true elation with the warmth of emotions & love.Bathes the souls in the mystery of moonlit night.....what a scene to be enjoyed....beautiful & romantic inside in nature with again rich fertility of diction...thumbs up.
