The Song Is Never Sung Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Song Is Never Sung

Rating: 5.0

In the calm and tranquil night,
I fell deep asleep,
After a while,
I listened to the sweetest song of the world
With rapt attention
In my wonderful vision,
But the ugly devil laughed at me
From the dark corner,
Being annoyed, when I asked him the reason,
The cruel devil said,
"How can you listen to the song
Which is never sung? "

At the face of it, the poem seems to be the part of a psycho-analytical study of a protagonist who suffers from some kind of delusion of demons. Not a paranormal activity but a common abnormality. Thanks.
