The Soul & The Flower Poem by Jeremy Horsford

The Soul & The Flower

Rating: 5.0

Haven't heard, smelt, or looked upon thee,
since moonlight.

Thy beauty has escaped me, but beauty has
not. For I see most beauty in ‘The Flower',
that lifts this Soul.

A Flower represents Life, and it is the
Life in ‘The Flower' that lifts this Soul,
to where the Life in ‘The Flower' and this
Soul becomes one, two halves completing a
full circle.

But I ask this Soul, 'What is a Flower
without Life and what is Life without a
Soul'? The Soul replies 'The answer is
skin deep'!

I find it a coincidence to use the same idea as that in my poem the flower.A nice idea.

Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram- - Truth is Soul, Soul is beautiful hence a thing of beauty is joy for ever.

Nice insight, lol how else than shallow could my answer be to such questions? If I am not a flower how could I know? How could I know the real difference between life and dead if I have not felt both yet? But on one thing if I am not mistaking I guess you might be very right: Without a soul, the life can be only skin deep. Good read thank you for share!
