What is it
that gives life?
This eternal source
To make this mind,
make it think?
This eternal source
Who are we,
in these endeavors?
This eternal source.
And why do I not
think when I should?
This eternal source.
What is love,
and what are attachments?
This eternal source.
Who has beauty
and how do I fit?
This eternal source.
Is family all,
and where is my journey?
This eternal source.
All I know:
In all
there is love
in love there is health
in health there
is freedom
These are eternal sources.

A really beautiful introspective poem. Like Justine, I really enjoyed the flow of it and the connection but always with the same message running through. Enjoyable read David. HG: -) xx
'in love there is health in health there is freedom' I think these last 3 lines speak a lot of truth. The refrain that runs through this poem repeats like a mantra but doesn't interrupt the flow of this deeply introspective and meditative poem. This is a poem that stills the mind and lets the reader focus. j x

A thought beyond the Sources of Food, cloth and shelter An intellectual thought. Finally ends with essential realisation That very source of Love, Health and Freedom. Enjoyed reading the eternal sense in this poem. Thank you, dear poet.
A poem insearch of source... very good one. I can see a different Desantis in these lines..*10*

Nicely done and well crafted. Is there a great joy that comes from reading a poem? Yours made me think that as I read it. Thanks for that. 10
