The Stillness Of Silent Solitude Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Stillness Of Silent Solitude

Rating: 5.0

Look not for inspiration
In a cloudless new born, morn
Loneliness begets emptiness,
No light, will flowers bare,
If no one's there to care,
The world takes flight
The Scene, desolate,
Loses all might
There is no difference
Between day or night
When no one's there,
As if your very soul
Had taken flight
And you, just,
Don't even care.
No banister to hold on tight
When falling down a precipice
Knowing, no one's there
To catch or save you
Or even care, if survival
Is still scheduled
For you in the
Solitary Silence
Of the great Somewhere,
A complete desolate feeling,
Chokes, Time, Everywhere,
Joining, the frigid wind
Which, madly twirls,
But goes No Where.
