The Stars
Is Poetry
A waste of time?
Some might say
"Yes", not worth a dime
But breathing, thinking'
Loving too,
May not produce,
Great wealth for you
Yet necessary are,
And so is Poetry
For those who dream
And live,
Reaching, for the Stars.

In answering your question in this thought provoking poem, it is all in the definition of wealth. Some define wealth as having material things. But wealth, for some, is breathing, thinking, loving.......... and defnitely writing poetry! ! ! ! Good write! :)
