The Sun Will Come With You Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Sun Will Come With You

Rating: 5.0

How I long to touch yr lips.
As the cool wind brush against my tears,
I sit on this bench counting the hours until you return
But it's useless to think you still yearn for me
As the memories of yr kiss overshadows my judgement,
The snow is beginning to fall
Though, vicious, I continue to wait,
Until it became too cold to expect yr arrival
I must go home and try tomorrow
Hoping the sun will come with you.
