I'm human,
I cry a lot,
I think a lot,
Because the answers,
Come in spurts, if ever,
Or Never.
I'm human,
And I want to know why,
People have to die,
Or be killed?
No crime committed,
As if they were a helpless Fly,
I cry.
I'm human,
And I wonder why
We Love?
And look towards the sky,
Trying to understand,
Passion, commitment and pain,
The loved and the unloved,
The sane and the insane,
Explain?
I'm human,
But what hurts the most,
Is to hear men boast,
Of their dictatorial powers,
Built on despicable,
Babel Towers,
A real catastrophe,
Not for me.
And finally,
I'm tired of being Human,
And seeing how Inhuman,
Man towards Man can be,
I quit being human,
I'm free....
I love your poem so much. The message is so amazing. Thanks. I just wish I can receive it though.
Yes, Ms. Kamoonpuri, The more we know, the less we seem to understand. Such a tangled up ball of thoughts and flesh are we humans So many vital questions still remain unanswered. Thank you so much for your kind words, bur greatis just a status that does not belong to me as a poet.I really do humbly thank you for that.Think well and be well, and thanks again, SF
Dear Mirna. As things are on planet Eath today, what we really need is a rocket ship to take us to Mars. but since that is impossible, we will have to content ourselves with Mirna's Arc, un abrazo, SF
