The Transitional Blight Poem by prashant shaurya

The Transitional Blight

Rating: 5.0

Do you feel a crisis nowadays
yes, the one I didn't in my age
and at once comes the reply
resources have all gone dry
and I can feel the change indeed
this generation and its greed...

GOD gave them gifts abundant
yet short their needs, redundant
now love's no more the first emotion
as longing challenges the notion
So I condemn the change indeed
this generation and it's greed....

a pertinent write...I can relate to it as I too belong to the youth generation...poetry is one strong medium by which youth like you and me can bring back our fellow mates on the track on righteousness!

It is true, greed has been a norm among so many people, it ought to be resisted by all. A sincere piece with an important message.

the transitional line demarcates greed.there is a very thin line between need and greed.when need finishes, greed starts, so we should be aware of this crisis at this juncture of changing times.enjoyed reading the poem and the messageit gives.god bless you. ritty

yes, it's all true; but I'm sure this will always be said by a generation before about a generation that comes after. Still, there's love, always there's love, that's our saving grace. I watch my grandchildren - their world is not like mine, but they're so wonderful, so energetic, so eager, so enthusiastic and so independent; sometimes headstrong, like their grandfather.

Sad and true, but all things must come to an end. This crazy race cannot last much longer. A change must come, and it´s urgent, very urgent!
