Turtles with-draw their
sense organs into the
carapace when
not in use.
Only extend them again when
genuinely needed,
never for abuse.
This practice conserves
energy, allows the organs
some rest.
Man uses his senses
indiscriminately whether
genuinely needed or not.
Advent of modern audio-visual
gadgets makes the
situation worse.
Even if a single man
is walking on the road,
blue tooth and mobiles
are used to converse.
People traveling in bus,
train and plane,
remain engrossed
in surfing the net.
This habit may be
detrimental for health as
eye, ear, mouth and brain
don't get adequate rest.
Things to learn from small creatures, I wonder whether these inventions are for use or abuse. Nice poem.5***

Truly the modern audio-visuals have their adverse effects on man. Nice poem.
