The Twenty First Century’s Politics And Power By Ray Subrata - Poem by Subrata Ray

Comrade said then, -loll my dear
Our alarming threat put them in fear,
In every slums and village hut,
Our cadres screwed their every nut.

Are you thinking of handy- Administration?
The-bribing parasite, promised our notion.
Our ministers are with them in anti chambers,
Offering money- women –wine, - secret members.

Money the means of the vote! How far the fund is raised?
For Corporate- bliss, have already been compromised.
Again, the would- be Riches
Have their willing praises
To be a parliamentary,
Come, no question of worry.

Those who are below poverty level,
For, counting them, we have net-cable,
Multiple-rations,
Have evoked motions,
And promises of sound –housing,
No stone-left, we have done every thing.

There are, -X, Y, Z,
They may cause our Fate,
Rape their wives, and young daughters,
If these do not do, then murder.

There are some honest officers,
Whisper force in their ears,
For, surely, we are coming in to power,
If otherwise, theirs is the inevitable hour.

What can more we do, for the welfare of the State?
History is a great teacher, and we must not lower the rate.
