There is a fire in the forest
and my residence is far from it
trees are ablaze
flames are raging
I received information
there is a fire in the forest.

The breeze is fanning the flames
the creatures are fleeing
birds departing from their nests
there is a fire in the forest.

We are in the contemporary era
information is accessible instantly
On the azure sky, the smoke is ascending
Everything is being broadcasted live
there is a fire in the forest

Flames have now turned ferocious
they have grown immense
the creatures are running
towards the town
the river is filled with ashes
burning timbers are flowing
there is a fire in the forest
my home is at a distant

i'm sipping tea
observing animal's pry live on television
the sky has turned dark
the breeze is blowing smoke
there is a fire in the forest
now the smoke has reached the town
though fire is only visible on television
my home is far from the forest

I believe the fire will not reach here
I see some birds are soaring
the beasts have arrived in the town
my home is in the heart of the city
there is a fire in the forest

There is a river between the city and the forest
City seems somewhat secure from fire
though news of caution has started to arrive
the fire has taken an enormous shape
Fire has reached the city river now
My home is still far from the river

The breeze is starting to feel scorching
The fire that started in the forest
now reached the limits of the city
the city that remained aloof to the wildfires
now beginning to feel the heat
Everyone has become restless,
there is an uproar everywhere
those who didn't take wildfires seriously
and ignored the cries of animal
and the plight of the birds
when it came to their lives now they feel hurts,

How many questions this fire left unanswered -
How many houses were charred to the ground -
How many lost their sleep?
Why can't we extinguish it in time?
Why are you just watching like a spectator?
Knowing the consequences, how we remained ignorant?
