Thief Poem by Sandra Feldman

Thief

Rating: 5.0

My Soul's no longer mine
You came one day
Stole it away
And left
Without sign,
A single word
Not one I heard
You were no longer mine.

Since then,
Just emptiness, surrounds,
The soul, I thought was mine,
You took it with you,
Making Gray,
All sunshine, will not shine
Nor will another living day
Be happy or even mine
I won't defend, nor will pretend,
That stealing love is fine.

Yes, it's like taking a part of you away... Beautifully expressed

Brilliantly penned! You have beautifully expressed a different facet of love which you rightly call stealing love! A poignant piece of work loaded with emotions!
