Those Eyes
Can you peer through those eyes?
The radiance must be blinding.
As I gaze into them I've come to understand
what the ancients must have felt,
looking up toward the shimmering night sky.
All the mysteries and wonders of life
are clearly reflected, as is the light.
And even if I'd never be sure
just what chemicals kindle a stars faithful burn.
I would still spend every night
dreaming up poems about your eyes.
oh, how beautiful are the eyes used as subject here as a poet's inspiration for this poem... those eyes are made for you just for you hunter...just for you...grace
What a nice piece finely penned! I just wonder whom eyes are 'Those Eyes'. By the way the poem is not that brilliant so I'm just rating it as 10+. (Read mine 'Those Eyes' & 'Shattered')
If i could peer thru those eyes, i will use them to worship the beauty of Love, cause the eyes done lie.In it u see life, hope, strenght and most of all U feel that u are love by the almighty. gud write, keep it!

I re-visit this poem from time to time and just wanted to dropp a quick note telling you how much I love it. Beautiful poem-I love the second verse and the ending especially.
This is my favorite one of yours. I like them all, however I think you may be trying too hard. Instead of writing about the meaning of life, write about ONE petal on a flower. Keep it short, too. NO unnecessary words. GRAB the essence of it! People always ask me for advise on this site, and when they ask, I'm honest. Hope you don't mind. Keep writing. You have a lot of great ideas in there.
