Through The Dark Woods
Danny and Eila were on a drive
Through the woods on a foggy night
Crickets were singing in the dark
Leaves were making music of love
and wind whistled around
The moon was hiding in the clouds
No stars twinkled in the sky
Eila's odor filled the car
A bottle of beer between the gap
They enjoyed the ride through
the haunted road
Flashing light on wet grass
And the romantic night kissed them both
The wind became still at the sight
And the two lovers disappeared in the dark

Dear poet, The poem is reveals normal night and mystery night. until the last line the reader think that both of them (lovers) is normal human being. from the last line only the reader can understand that those were departed souls from earth. in this poem u mingle nature and the philosophy of life (after death) . my best wishes Rini
