Throw Not Stones

Rating: 4.9
Throw not stones to calm pools
Raising ripples that never still.
The stones sink down the bosom
Choking and undulating the depths

The lava repressed will be hurled out
From the depths of earth's bosom
Through the wounds the stones make
Turning the pool into a volcanic fury
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It's a hobby of Sadists to wound innocent beings. The wounded will turn furious with harmful revenge

This is profound knowledge and indeed a wise advice. This is really beautiful metaphorical understanding. This is beautiful. Into my favorites.

Thank you Varsha. I am satisfied that I could metaphorically explain the impact of wounds inflicted by others on our mind, soul and heart.and how the suppressed pain will affect our creativity

Some just don't like calm waters. To have fun at others expense is something they enjoy most. Who gets hurt in the process is not a least bit of their concern. My last poem on PoemHunter was something of that expression. Too bad PH new format makes it so difficult to find anybody's latest poem.

Thank you Savitaji. I was really waiting for your thrilling comments. It's true that the sadists never feel any concern over the agony of others
