To Be Childlike Poem by Rini Shibu

To Be Childlike

Rating: 5.0

Forgive me for hurting your feelings
Which my selfish mind never cares for
I always wanted to be loved
And to occupy the small space in your heart

Forgive me for being childlike
Who likes to have fun and play a prank
But my feelings for you are pure and
I always want you to be by my side

Forgive me for the interference
In your personal life
I thought that I am part of your world
And so you are in mine

Forgive me for loving you so much
Never intended anything bad
I tried to be your best buddy
Who can make you feel better

A sweet sensitive poem, very touching, this poem has something endearing, because it is a close relationship between two people, a very special relationship given the build-up of the sentences in the poem. I have enjoyed enormously this excellently worded poem. A 10 and much much more for the voting
