How long shall I wallow in lesser truths
to mend this trembling heart, too frail to touch,
my words are weak and lack a steely proof
that must risk all when all is not enough.
What great lessons in and of yourself teach
embroidered by passion and all that is good,
I drop this letter at your virtuous feet
for you have graced the path of womanhood.
Commence then in my mind a strong belief
tempered by the trials of fortitude,
each moment atones, surmounts my grief,
while I strive to love and be loved by you.
Glad to see you back, Captain Cur! Like the undulations of waves, love ebbs and flows here! Each line is embroidered with passion and you express great regard for the person addressed who in your words has graced the path of womanhood....!
Thanks Valsa, good to be back after a long voyage! I hope you are sailing high on the waves, in an ocean of beauty on a ship of good will.
It is a beautiful sonnet on love and womanhood with touching depiction. :)

Rini, I believe the evolution of love is the ideal for which we stive. What can be more important. Thank you for your comment.
Captain Cur style, it has leader's voice, romance, and rare expression that hard to find similar with other writer, thats why I say this as your style.... I think you are maybe the one and rare lovable pirate ever... Sail adventure with words, strengthen by wisdom!
Mr. Soul, pirates can be lovable in the right setting of course. When they are writing and not plundering. Thank you for being you.
