on this phenomenal planet-
this I'm
here is nothing
but a rhythm of love;
sometimes
cheap to admirable;
sometimes
welcomed to spurned!
but myself
here I've lost
in the depth of your eyes;
in the fathom of your eyesight
where wisdom plays with itself
here I've lost myself
into the cave of your hat
where grains of wit
tweets with itself
here I've lost myself
in the pithy pit of your every word
which engraves me with
the gravity of knowledge
here I've lost myself
into the silent abyss of your poetic expression
which renews me here
with this phenomenal planet's atmosphere
it's you o' dear poetess
it's you o' bard of expression
it's you o' chanter heart
it's you the great Sylvia Frances Chan
I have a green leaf
in my green hand,
I have a tweeting breeze
on the flapping wings of the tailor,
I have a rose
inside the bank of heart river,
I've you
in the kingdom of my sharp pen ink
here
the fire is only fire; can't burn my heartfelt grove,
here
the wild storm is only wild; can't devastate my inquisitive roots,
here
tigress of the blue life is the only hunter; can't hunt my diving life for the knowledge
yes;
here
the love and the dream
cleans my heart-
of thy womanhood,
of thy gravitational mood,
of thy poetical goodness,
of thy worldwide acceptance
