To Rise Like The Phoenix
I won't wake to see sunrise
I won't wake to see smile
Of the face that once was love
I won't wake to now hear
The song of nightingale
In my life of betrayal
I won't wake to touch your face
To kiss your eyes nose and mouth
To embrace you just once more
I shall rise from the ashes
Like the fiery phoenix
And set the sky on fire
To express my love for you
I shall rise from the ashes like the fiery phoenix....great promise!
