Today I Move On Poem by Vanessa Hughes

Today I Move On

Rating: 5.0

A new start, A new day
Shut the door on behind,
Walk forward in search
Of an inner peace of mind

Leave the anger to yesterday
Along with the pain
Not forgetting the suffering
But to start living again

No judgements, no bias
No prejudice, no spin
Take each person on merit
And the heart that's within

Don't distrust, keep faith
And life will enhance
Don't conclude from the past
But give everyone a chance

All the heartbreak and tears
taught lessons, now gone
Today I look forward
Today I move on!

Very positive and very focused. For sure you will succeed because you are cleaning your heart and emotions out nice words, good lines, good poem.

Keep moving on to better one Vanessa, like every single teardrop..it leave from eyes to fall down when the pressure of emotion stress it out...then it will meet a new place in the air as the wet of the face will dry...and it free now...Dont lock regret in closet because it took space for happiness to be kept...Now open the window let the shine illuminate the dark and you will stay in bright..stay smile Vanessa because we live for once_Unwritten Soul

As with fishy tale, I love the hope and optimism of this one, even though sometimes keeping hope is the hardest part.

Fantastically written. Unfortunatly, when you close the door, some of those emotions still slip through the keyhole! SG xo
