Today In Top Five Hundred List
Generally Robert Frost remains in top
But Today's top five hundred list of poets,
It is exceptional, because
William Shakespeare today is rank one
In this list in second we see Emily Dickinson,
Third rank goes to Robert Frost today,
Whatever may be the change, but it is so nice,
We have visited the list especially,
All legendary poets acquire the place,
I too express my emotion with great joy,
Seeing my name in rank One Hundred and sixty,
It is today on the Seventeenth day of August,
In this year of Two Thousand and Twenty,
Top list is special, it seems so true,
I have got a place in page four of the list
Along with all legendary poets
The name dwells in fifth row in right,
God's light has enlightened us with grace,
Great day is notified in notice of love,
Today in top five hundred list of poets,
The dwelling faces express poetic charm!
This is the same list which beholds
Our poet members and our poet friends,
In page three and as we notice,
Great poet Jayanta Mahapatra holds
Rank one hundred and forty
Great poet Hasmukh Amathalal holds
One hundred and forty four rank,
Poet Gajanan Mishra holds
Two hundred and sixty six rank,
However great poetess Wonder Jasmine,
Certified evangelist Sylvia Frances Chan
She holds the world rank
Two Hundred and Seventy Four today,
We witness ranking in page number six,
The tenth page of the list shows us
And we see poetess Sandra Feldman
In four hundred and ninety nine rank,
And poetess Celia Thaxter in five hundred,
World ranking matters a lot
As this ranking is gifted by the readers,
Thousands of readers make us great poets
We thank them all and we hope that
They will continue their visits,
May God bring fortune and happiness!
Great memorable day is treasured
In time's top core of thanksgiving,
Five hundred special lotus flowers
We offer in a full palm plane to God,
His greatest bless is felt well,
Let the list shine in his graceful light!
A delighted day of thanksgiving
Sun has written in fresh appearance,
We thank you our Poem Hunter Family
And our beloved editors and all visitors,
Every support is kept in core of heart,
I thank all twelve thousand five hundred
And eighty six visitors and readers
Who have visited my poems and page
On the day of sixteenth August
In the year of two thousand and twenty,
I offer prayer to our beloved God
To sprinkle his mercy on all of us,
Impossible becomes possible by his grace!

Each time when I see my name figuring in the top rank list, I feel embarrassed....as I don't think I am a great poet or even one with much poetic talent! Call it either false humility or hypocrisy! I have always felt that this ranking of poets should be stopped. This poetry site is a site of just poets to experiment with poetry!
We are here for self expression, self enjoyment and learning from others, not for a rat race to get high ranking! It leads to unnecessary rivalry! I have been part of some other more prestigious poetry sites. I have never seen ranking of poets anywhere.
