They found each other, a perfect fit like two turtle doves in flight.
When he held her, her heart fluttered with anticipation ever so slight.
Her full red lips where the colour of strawberries and complimented her skin an off white cream.
He gazed at her afraid to break contact like he was captured in a dream.
His arms where protective, his torso wrapped around her strong.
To him she was perfection; he couldn’t find a flaw, not one thing wrong.
The wind whispered with fragrances of honeysuckle and vanilla swirls.
They danced like floating on air, mesmerizing in twirls.
They cradled each other their bodies intertwined as one.
Everything around them disappeared all except the warmth of the rising sun.
