A rooster's early morn calling sense,
Is it too much of neighbourly nuisance?
But raised has cockerel's morning heist
Oh crows of loud protest
In an island off France's west coast,
And court's called on to call the ghost!
And back home here this makes me wonder:
We get away with virtual thunder—
What with mosques' prayer calls so loud,
What with temples' bells ringing aloud,
What with roaring marriage processions,
Festival loud speakers, election runs!
What tolerance is, I muse,
What intolerance and abuse?

There is civilization's noise and that of the Nature. Most of the sounds of Nature can't be called noise, and agree with you 'they make life colourful'. This ditty is trying to draw a line. We are gung-ho on the noise we create and then complain about a cockerel. Thank you Savitaji for your comments.
We have many annoying noises that we tolerate like traffic noise or plane noise but in my opinion all the above noises mentioned make life colorful.
You have so touchingly delineated this poem on tolerance and intolerance taking a rooster. Beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing.
