One day
I will rise,
I'll hold my head high
Trust me.
One day
I’ll look up to the sky
And regain my beliefs.

I’ll believe in miracles,
In Santa Claus, in shooting stars.
And I’ll plant flowers in my yard
Roses and lilies in bright colors
To replace funeral, gothic flowers
I will,
Don’t doubt my words.

But right now,
I’m begging you
Please don’t look at me
I am nothing but shattered pieces
I am an unfinished song
The writer’s block
The producer’s on an eternal vacation
I don’t think he’s coming back
To go on seems like an impossible mission.

But listen,
I’ll be fine.
One day
The tempo on my piano will change
I will play catchy songs
Duran Duran and Kylie Minogue
And we’ll dance like there’s no tomorrow.
We'll bring the house down
We'll make so much noise
The neighbors will surely call the cops.

And
One day
I’ll pain my room pink, or purple, or orange
Anything you like
We’ll rob a bank
If that’s your idea of fun
I promise
I promise.

I know I will,
One day
Perhaps
But not today.
