Ukraine, Quo Vadis? Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Ukraine, Quo Vadis?

Ukraine, Quo Vadis?

muddling through
slog with the bullets
where do the bullets go?
Since three months ago?
People are not satisfied
because those bullets are fired,
aimed at an innocent country,
the land of plenty,
corn strands, golden corn,
in abundance,
but envy typical of a madman,
who does to his servants and the bars of iron,
all production in bullets,
those leaflets you may have seen,
in every scene,
which bullets are used,
ah, pamphlets with bullets!

So jealous of Ukraine for being such a rich country,
Ukraine, quo Vadis?

feel sorry for you
A country with so much money
You will no longer be
the center of honey
the way you used to be….

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This story poem is not only a story or a poem, but it occurred truly in reality, caused by only one insane man, that you all know, thw WHOLE world knows about this, but let this lovely land fight and defend itself, too sad, very very sad, so very bad, so, many kids are shot, are killed, so many hospitals are burned and so on and so on, the chaos is on and on and I am very very sad
