Unwanted Prize - Poem by matt jenniges

Did you hear me today?
Don't you love me some way?
you did hold my hand
but also snapped like a rubberband
you are so big and tough
I guessing you like it rough
I don't love you this way
but i like you okay
i wish i would've came to my senses
so i could've built some fences
you can't even think being this sober
i'm so sure you could've gone lower
burn out my sad blue eyes
and chase after someother guys
because i give up
on this unwanted prize
