Up The Plum Covered Steps - Poem by Jesse love

Out of the apple tree
With its apples golden red
Waiting to be picked
And made into pie
With a crisp golden crust

Running up a gravel path
Hearing the gravel crunch
Underneath my bare feet

The vinca
Along side me
With its purple flowers
Containing a nectar
As pure as the baby blue sky

Passed the maple tree
Standing as high as the clouds
Branching upward
To trying to capture the silver moon at night

And at last
Up the plum covered steps
Leading up up
Maybe to some place different
Maybe to some place new
Up up the plum covered steps
