Waltzing Lights Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Waltzing Lights

Rating: 5.0

The fireflies of the ephemeral luminescence of the sun
glimmer hypnotically upon the sea bathed in twilight,
when the sun claims it for its own: to possess it in erotic
rhythms of rapture upon the wavy breasts of love;
transient towards the profundity of existence: —
How gracefully the lights of my human-soul
are waltzing too, on the thalassic dance-floor!

How vibrantly the snake-like Echoes undulate
in the eternal, mystical Consciousness of Light!
How forceful is the impalpable Energy in the bright
transparency, which inundates the senses with life,
with sudden erogenous shivers, and swallows the beauty
of the sky: like the human mouth is the rose blood
of the sky, which breathes life into the soul at twilight!

The moon penetrates the blood of the sky
with the trepidation and the gravitation of fire,
boiling the ocean in a profound lunacy and potency,
with sensual lips of midnight blue, like entwined
tentacles: the Energy's Twins of sexuality and duality: —
O incandescent Sun, thirsty to conceive offspring of fire!
O mysterious Moon embracing with your gravitational pull!
