Wanted - A Dream
A dream is just a dream
Until you write it down
Then a dream becomes a goal
A yearning from your soul
A striving from your heart
A place from which to start
A goal is just a goal
Until you have a plan
Then a goal becomes more real
With ambition you can feel
And a longing deep inside
With a step by step life guide
One day I will have a dream
Then I will make a plan
Meantime I'll just muddle through
Doing the very best I can
Muddle, muddle, .........through life which is a murky puddle (sometimes) . yeah, " someday" ! ! to MyPoemList bri :)
Make that plan! The dream is there. Do not muddle through. This is a wonderfully written poem about dreams! Loved it! ! ! !
