What Is - Poem by Chanda Lena Mondoka

Sometimes the longing of social beings
Just as I am human I longed for people
People who would be holding unique spaces in my heart for them
Your eyes deep and dark as a piercing in my heart
The first look into your eyes
The warmth of your smile and touch of my hand
Almost did want not to let go of you
Nothings spoken of that mean nothing to ordinary beings
To us it meant everything we longed for

The day you said goodbye
It broke my heart tears of blood dripping from the depth of my heart
Goodbyes of the past dreams dreamt of
Wishes of could have been
It was the beginning of summer
The moment I saw you leave
Brought hurtful thoughts
Saddening moments and a feeling of emptiness
Only one marvelous moment to be cherished and adored forever more
From that road I walked and met you along the way
The emptiness
I felt has vanished like a thick dark cloud that poured as heavy rains
Now a new day of fresh memories to hold onto has come
Like morning dew comes upon a new day of fresh memories to hold onto has come
Spring a month of fresh memories and new beginnings

Behold now fresh memories as photos
Colors of a master piece an artist paints, understands and interprets
A dunging language lover’s call gibberish
Spoken by special people
