What makes me happy
Is the sunset on the horizon
The colours vibrant orange, pink and red
Where imagination makes my mind wander
Knowing I am immortal and not dead.

What makes me happy
Is the breeze outside in my hair
Breathing in fresh and clear air
Like cleansing water on my skin
Having had my morning shower without a care.

What makes me happy
Is the music playing on my Boombox
The captivating magical musical notes
Making my bitter mood improve
And making the atmosphere upbeat or to soothe.

What makes me happy
Is the soft dark purple carpet underneath my bare feet
Cushioning my hard-working feet
And leaving me to relax in peace
Where my home is all I really need.

What makes me happy
Is my important family around me
My family that keep me grounded
My family knowing I work hard and being astounded
My contribution to society with amazing achievements.

What makes me happy
Are my cute and much loved pet cats
That comfort me and make it all better
My cats that love me and trust me
Their health, safety and wellbeing vital.

What makes me happy
Is flying on exciting airplanes
Travelling around the vast planet
Exotic holidays on my Internet itinerary
Seeing the world part of my adventurous lifestyle.

What makes me happy
Is riding in the modern 21st century electric car
Where any destination is never too far
And you sit there relaxing like a star
The convenience of car journeys wonderful.

What makes me happy
Is cooking dinner every evening with my family
Enjoying happy dinnertime together
And creating homemade culinary delights
When ended with chocolate cake: just a small slice.

What makes me happy
Is sharing a pot of Yorkshire tea
At the quaint local café
Watching the world go by outside the rainy window
Imagining other people's dramas in their busy lives.

What makes me happy
Is the spooky season of autumn
Where Halloween has me enchanted
Where tricks and treats are fun for children
My love for horror films ghoulish.

What makes me happy
Is reading books and books
Reading from cover to cover
Every genre from crime to romantic lovers
Reading an enjoyable addiction through and through.

What makes me happy
Is reading modern and popular women's magazines
Where women are helpfully advised about
Beauty, fashion, health, career, recipes and relationships
And everything else that works for the modern woman.
