What You Gave Me
I gave you my heart
and I thought you had given me yours
but all you gave me was
ashes
and lies.
I gave you my heart
and you smashed it to pieces
the last possesion I had worth giving.
Now I'm taking back
the shattered pieces you threw at the ground
and walking away
after throwing your ashen heart
in your face.
