When The Rain Falls Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

When The Rain Falls

Rating: 5.0

The ground so dry, so parched,
Cries out for precious rain,
It's such a warm hot summer,
The wildlife feel the pain.

So when the cool rain falls,
The welcome is so grand,
I hear the wild birds call,
They relish nature's plan.

For nothing can survive,
Without our heavenly rain,
To carry on with life,
We need the rain again.

We all long for rain, I've just bought a bird bath for my garden birds as it's so dry.
