Disabled persons with
begging bowls in hands
is a most common scene
on the way to any temple.
Devotees entering those shrines
use to give either in cash
or in kind to those people.
Most temple goers
think them beggars
as they collect to satisfy
their pangs of hunger.
But what the donors do
inside the temple is the
matter of discussion here.
They have every thing
at their disposal for
a happy living.
Unsatisfied, they ask God
to give more and more
of things.
They have unending desires
of various kinds.
They promise to offer
better and best Bhogs
to the supreme being.
So to say we are all beggars
who ask for satisfying
our endless greed.
The people with begging
bowls beg to satisfy
their minimum need.
What a meaningful write. A brilliant presentation and depiction on how men respond to their wants and needs. Top Marks and to my favorites.
