Will you love me when I’m old and gray
and can barely hear a word you say.
Will you love me when my face begins to fall
and I’m no longer standing straight and tall.
Will you love me when my words are no longer clear,
and I slur almost every word you hear.
Will you love me when I ask you your name,
but depend on you just the same.
Will You? ? ? ?

A very good poem, it makes me reflect on what true love really is...it does not fade through time.
Every young person should read this poem and remember they will also become old one day and find answera to these questions.
'Will You'. How powerful yet laden with vunerability at every line. Frighteningly true to everyday life and poetically put in the light that it deserves as this happens to all of us if we live long enough more often than not. Let's hope the answer comes back a resounding yes! Beautifully written with flair.
Don`t you know Melvina by now, when you truely love a soul, they are for every beautiful and never grow old... andy x
The one who answers 'yes' to these questions is a true lover indeed.Awesome write. Ashish.
I hope the answers to these questions are yes. Don't we all want to know that he will still care for us, if things become this dire? Another great poem, Me! vina! Very touching and sweet!
